Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage LAN, WAN, VLAN, and WLAN networks.
- Configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance & security, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance.
- Implement firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Manage ESXi servers, virtualization, backups, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical support and document network configurations.
- Evaluate new network technologies and recommend upgrades.
- Participate in on-call rotation for network emergencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- 2+ years as a Network Engineer with expertise in TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, QoS.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Sophos, Fortinet devices.
- Strong network security knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with VMware, virtualization, and cloud networking (AWS, Azure preferred).
- Industry certifications like CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, VMware are a plus.
