Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with proven expertise in delivering large-scale, high-performing web projects. As part of our dynamic team, you will collaborate with designers, QA testers, and developers to design, develop, and deploy robust, scalable applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong PHP development skills, a problem-solving mindset, and a passion for building solutions with a SaaS product approach that creates significant value for our clients.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: BE in Computer Science/IT, MCA, or MSc in Computer Science.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Hands-on experience with PHP full-cycle development (including debugging and performance optimization).
- Expertise in MySQL, including query analysis and optimization for performance efficiency.
- Experience with real-time web applications and event-driven architectures (Node.js, WebSockets).
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases and distributed systems like Redis.
- Proficiency in building scalable services using caching tools such as Memcache.
- Solid working knowledge of NGINX and Apache web servers.
- Proficient in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Key Skills:
- Strong database design skills with a focus on performance optimization.
- Sound understanding of data structures, algorithms, and engineering principles.
- Expertise in service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, debug, and autonomously resolve critical support issues.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, QA Testers, and fellow Developers to build software solutions that meet business objectives.
- Take complete ownership of software delivery — ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality.
- Work with a diverse range of clients, including corporates, startups, greenfield projects, and legacy-code systems.
- Provide technical expertise by advising stakeholders on solutions and recommending best practices to achieve project goals.
- Drive research initiatives to identify new technologies and strategies that improve development speed and efficiency.
- Participate in product architecture discussions, influencing design decisions and implementing scalable solutions.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain high coding standards and ensure team productivity.
- Troubleshoot critical issues and autonomously address challenges during development and deployment.
- Actively contribute to Agami Tech’s internal initiatives by sharing knowledge, exploring innovations, and mentoring team members.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing and receiving candid, constructive feedback.
